Official rules
Organizer
The BrainPip Monthly Challenge (the "challenge") is organized by Technamah LLP, Surat, Gujarat, India ("Technamah"). Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of the challenge and are not involved with it in any way.
For Plus members
The challenge and the rank board are part of BrainPip Plus. You need an active BrainPip Plus membership (a free trial counts) to join and to see the standings. There is no entry fee and nothing else to buy. No cash or money prizes are offered. Every member earns points the same way.
Who can enter
Anyone aged 18 or over with a BrainPip account in good standing and BrainPip Plus can join from the challenge screen. Employees of Technamah and their immediate families can't win prizes. One account per person; entrants with more than one account are disqualified.
When it runs
Each challenge runs from 00:00 on the 1st to 23:59:59 on the last day of the calendar month, India Standard Time (IST). Points earned earlier in the month count once you join.
How points are earned
Finish your daily workout: 100 points. Beat a personal best in a game: 50 points. Each day you keep your streak: 20 points. Play a game with no misses: 30 points. Some achievements also award points, as shown on the achievement. Points are calculated only on our servers. We may change point values for future months and will show them in the app before the month starts.
Winners
When the month closes, the three entrants with the most points win. If two entrants have the same points, the one who reached that total first ranks higher. Standings are final once results are published in the app, normally within one day of the month ending.
Prizes
Prizes are free months of BrainPip Plus and badges; they are shown on the challenge screen (for example 12 months of BrainPip Plus for 1st place, 6 months for 2nd and 3 months for 3rd). Prizes have no cash value. They can't be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for money, except that Technamah may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Claiming a prize
Winners are told in the app and by email and must claim within 30 days from the claim screen. Unclaimed prizes lapse after 30 days. The free months start when you claim. If you pay for BrainPip Plus through the App Store or Google Play, they start when your current paid period ends; turn off auto-renew in your store settings to use them. A one-time (lifetime) purchase already includes BrainPip Plus for good, so no months are added. Technamah may ask a winner to verify their identity and age.
No cash value
Prizes are not money and can't be exchanged for money. Winners are responsible for any tax that applies to their prize where they live.
Fair play
Scores are checked on our servers. Technamah may disqualify an entrant, withhold points or cancel a prize for cheating, automation, multiple accounts, tampering with the app, or breaking the Terms of service.
Changes and cancellation
If the challenge can't run as planned because of technical failure, fraud or events outside our control, Technamah may change, pause or cancel it and will tell entrants in the app. Prizes already won will still be honoured.
Privacy
Entrants' data is handled as described in the Privacy policy. Winners' rank board names, initials and points appear on the past winners screen.
Law and contact
